Jesse directs U.S. PIRG's health care campaigns, with a focus on increasing transparency, improving accessibility, and decreasing costs. Jesse's advocacy has helped cut more than $280 million in waste from health insurance premiums, and helped pass new laws establishing consumer protections around health insurance provider networks and surprise medical bills. Jesse lives in Portland, Ore., with his wife, Rachel, and various pets.
